“Finding an assisted living home for our aging parents was a daunting task. My sisters and I visited multiple facilities before Fremont Village Senior Living. We knew immediately after a tour of Fremont Village that we found the right community for them. Our parents were apprehensive about leaving their home, but they too were impressed with their initial visit. It is definitely safe, caring community. Staff and residents are very friendly and welcoming, greeting everyone with a smile. The building is well maintained and decorated beautifully for every season and holiday. There are many offered activities, our parents’ favorites being bingo and happy hour with music. The food is good an varied with options always available. Our parents have often commented on the tasty meals. The staff are compassionate and know the residents well. Dan and I moved to Zimmerman in Feb 2023; my mom was living on the farm in Two Harbors. Recently diagnosed with dementia we were blessed Fremont was built and you (Martha) were able to accommodate our short timeline. The staff has been wonderful to my mom and always willing update me as needed. They keep me informed of any changes, offer suggestions and provide prompt responses to questions I may have.
Mom enjoys attending as many activities as possible. Exercise, bean bag toss and Bingo along with music are her favorites. She has thrived from opportunities to socialize, keep her mind active with games and has a sense of purpose she wouldn’t have if living alone.
